Our Legacy

Founded in Kolkata in 1989, Excelsior Leathers began its journey as a quality-first footwear manufacturer in the heart of India’s leather corridor. Over the years, a strong focus on material selection, skilled craftsmanship, and 5S-led practices has become the foundation of every pair we manufacture. Today, our purpose-built, 5S-led manufacturing campus spans 65,000+ sq. ft. and has an annual capacity of 2.5 million pairs. With extensive export experience and a deep understanding of international markets, Excelsior has grown into a trusted partner for global footwear brands. Today, we serve customers across 19 countries and 5 continents, having manufactured 20M+ pairs for 65+ brands, supported by 100% on-time delivery and a zero-defect, 4-stage Quality Management System.
